Welcome to the land of forgotten threads, abandoned stitches, and the stuff your grandma shoved in a drawer 40 years ago. I’m the kind of artist who gets way too excited about a tangled bag of embroidery floss at the thrift store or a half-finished cross-stitch project someone gave up on.
My tools of choice? Needles. Lots of them. Whether I’m stabbing fabric into submission with embroidery or turning wool into something vaguely recognizable through needle felting, I’m here for the chaos.
And while I love textiles and fibers more than most people, I’m not precious about the process... all I need is a pile of thread, some weird ideas, and a “let’s see what happens” attitude.
Almost everything I use is recycled, upcycled, thrifted, or saved from the sad fate of being “trash.” Random buttons? Yes. Discarded linens? Absolutely. A vintage doily that I’m about to stitch something snarky on? You bet.
You never know what will show up here—maybe a bird, maybe a tiny portal to another world, maybe something that makes you laugh out loud.
So, if you like art that’s a little stabby, a little strange, and unapologetically made from stuff other people forgot about, you’re in the right place.
